NC X POWER TILLER

The Kubota NC Plus X Special (often referred to simply as the NC-X) is a heavy-duty, two-wheel walking tractor (power tiller) engineered for rigorous land preparation in muddy paddy fields and dry land. Paired typically with Kubota's horizontal water-cooled diesel engines (such as the RT or ZT series), it acts as the primary mechanical workhorse for small to medium-scale rice farmers.

Chassis & Transmission: Built on a rugged steel chassis designed to handle high-torque applications. It utilizes a heavy-duty gear transmission system (typically offering multiple forward speeds and reverse gears) to match travel speed with varying soil resistance.

Clutch System: Features a reliable single-clutch system (often a dry type) for smooth engagement of power to the wheels and implements. Independent steering clutches on the handles allow the operator to brake individual wheels for sharp turns in tight paddy terraces.

Traction & Wheels: While rubber pneumatic tires are used for transport and dry hauling, the NC-X is most commonly equipped with large-diameter (e.g., 980 mm) steel cage wheels. These wide-lugged wheels prevent the heavy machine from sinking deep into muddy, waterlogged rice fields while providing maximum grip for plowing.

Versatility: The tiller acts as a multi-purpose prime mover. The rear hitch assembly accepts various attachments, including moldboard plows, disc harrows, rotary tillers, and leveling boards.
